The Department of CSE – APEX (CSE-APEX) is a center of excellence dedicated to emerging technologies like AIDS, AIML and DS. The department is committed to producing future-ready engineers who are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and mindset to tackle real-world challenges through innovation and technology.

CSE-APEX offers an industry-aligned curriculum that emphasizes hands-on learning, interdisciplinary knowledge, and exposure to cutting-edge tools and platforms. Students actively engage in projects related to AI, machine learning, computer vision, and data-driven decision-making. With a strong emphasis on research, entrepreneurship, and professional development, CSE-APEX nurtures a dynamic learning environment where students grow into visionary engineers, tech entrepreneurs, and responsible digital citizens.

Message from the Head of the Department


Dr. Malhotra brings over 15 years of experience in both academia and the corporate sector. She holds an M.Tech from Jawaharlal Nehru University and is a triple gold medalist. Her career spans roles at Advanced Microprocessor Development (AMD) Hyderabad, CollegeDekho ImaginXP, MRU Faridabad, CMR Bangalore, Rayat Bahra Mohali, and Chandigarh University.
An accomplished author and researcher, she has written multiple books, published over 35 research papers, and holds patents in her name. Her areas of interest include Data Analytics, AI/ML, Software Engineering, and Computer Networks.

PO1:Ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.

IIC Chapter

The Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) is an initiative of the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, established under the MoE's Innovation Cell (MIC) to foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).

What is an IIC Chapter?

Oracle Academy is Oracle’s global educational program. It offers free resources to educators and students in secondary schools, technical/vocational schools, and higher education institutions.
